North America

La Jolla
The beach starts just south of a sea-carved bluff separating it from Marine St. Beach and extends south to Big Rock Reef. Big Rock Reef sees good body-boarding and on bigger days a nice break for surfers. WindanSea gets very crowded in the summer with local traffic and finding a place on the sand can be a challenge. There are exposed rock areas where one can set up chairs or towels that suffice just as well.

Playalinda
This national park is a pristine Florida beach eco-system and is a perfect example of natural Florida. If the Space Shuttle is on Pad 39 you'll see it on the way to the beach.

Ft. Lauderdale
A nice little site, very colorful shots of the Ft. Lauderdale fun-in-the-sun scene.

Venice Beach
Located on the shore of Santa Monica Bay just 12 miles from downtown Los Angeles, Venice Beach is known as the mecca of body building and for world-famous "Muscle Beach" on Ocean Front Walk. Please drop by and see our local comics, jugglers, musicians, artists, and trick and disco-dancing roller skaters.
